The Holes for Healthcare Golf Tournament is our annual Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation fundraising event. Participating foursomes from companies within the community and around the state take the opportunity to connect on and off the course while supporting community health at the prestigious, private Pine Canyon Golf Club.

The Holes for Healthcare Golf Tournament is our annual Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation fundraising event. Participating foursomes from companies within the community and around the state take the opportunity to connect on and off the course while supporting community health at the prestigious, private Pine Canyon Golf Club. 

Tournament Details

TIMELINE
7:00-8:20 a.m.   Check-in & Continental Breakfast
7:00-8:20 a.m.   Putting contest, silent auction open, and cocktails available
8:30 a.m.             Shotgun Start – SHAMBLE format
~ 1:15 p.m.          Buffet lunch, silent auction continued, & awards at the clubhouse

Course Information

SHAMBLE FORMAT
A Shamble format tournament can be played with teams of 2, 3, or 4. In a Shamble each golfer tees off on every hole. The team then selects their best drive and each team member plays their second shot from there. After the second shot each golfer plays their own ball for the remainder of the hole.

ON COURSE PACKAGE - Cost is $60 per package and includes:
- Bluetooth mini speaker
- $20 Pine Canyon gift card
- Two Mulligans
- Putting Contest entry
- Two drink tickets for use throughout the tournament

MULLIGANS
If you have purchased an on course package, you may purchase up to two additional mulligans for $5 each.

DRINK TICKETS - Cost per drink ticket is $7 each
Tickets are valid for beer & well drinks at the clubhouse, putting green and at comfort stations throughout.
No cash/credit is accepted at the comfort stations, however volunteers will be on the course selling additional tickets if desired.
A portion of each ticket sold supports the Foundation.

CONTESTS
- Putting contest sponsored by the Fiesta Bowl at the practice green
   7:00-8:20 a.m. Included in the On Course Package
-  Hole In One sponsored by Findlay Toyota Flagstaff on Hole 3
   Everyone has a chance to win a new Toyota on this downhill par 3
- Closest to the Pin (Hole TBA)
   Winner of the closest to the pin will receive a $100 Pine Canyon gift card
- Longest Drive (Hole TBA)
  Winner of the longest drive will receive a $100 Pine Canyon gift card
- Split the Pot – Closest to the pin on Hole 19
  Make a donation to take a shot at getting closest to the pin on this short hole

PRIZES
1st -3rd Place Net and Gross winning teams receive Pine Canyon gift cards as prizes

BUFFET LUNCH & AWARDS
Lunch will be served at the clubhouse immediately after play. Awards will be presented once all scorecards are turned in.

TEE PRIZE
The year’s tee prize, which is included in your tournament entry fee, is an embroidered Caddy Daddy golf shoe bag. Thanks to our tee prize sponsor Loven Contracting for their support.

2017 Philanthropist of the Year
Mike Loven and the Loven Family

The Loven Family and Mike Loven  have been long-time supporters of the Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation. This includes support of the Loven Family Run, Copper Ball, Turquoise Ball, Chicks with Sticks Women's Golf Tournament and Holes for Healthcare Golf Tournament.

This year Mike and the Loven Family supported the creation of Elaine's Forest House, making sure families and individuals are able to receive medical services, emotional support and needed resources in the last stages of serious illness.

Anthony Quintile

Anthony has been part of Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation events for more than 15 years. He has been, and still is and integral part of the Taylor House Century Ride since it's inception in 2001. Not only does Anthony help with event logistics, but is a lead on course design and support, making it one of the best known cycling events in northern Arizona while supporting The Taylor House.

Thank you Anthony for all you have done for the Taylor House Century Ride and the community as a whole.

Machine Solutions Run/Walk for Kids

On Aug. 6, 2016, more than 400 runners participated in the 38th annual Machine Solutions Run & Walk for Kids to support the Children’s Health Center at Flagstaff Medical Center. This event is presented by Machine Solutions and hosted by the Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation to bring funds to care for children, many of who come from low-income families. Runners can choose to participate in a 2K fun run/walk, 5K run/walk or 10K run.

Pepsi-Cola Taylor House Century Ride

Presented by Nackard Bottling Company, this annual bike ride event supports Flagstaff's hospitality home, The Taylor House, which provides housing in a compassionate environment for friends and families of patients receiving care at Flagstaff Medical Center.

This July 15th, bike riders from all over the Southwest will gather to enjoy a new scenic route. The challenging, yet breathtaking course will wind through the cool pines of Flagstaff, snake along Lake Mary road, pass by the serene Mormon Lake and loop back around at Happy Jack. 

There will be a Friday night packet pick-up  at 4 p.m. at The Taylor House and lunch will be provided at the end of the ride for all participants. A mass start at 7 a.m. leaves from Flagstaff Medical Center, 1200 N. Beaver St., West Campus parking lot.

Check-in and and day-of registration will begin at 6 a.m. at the West Campus parking lot at FMC.

Chicks with Sticks Women's Golf Tournament

The Chicks with Sticks Women’s golf tournament, supports the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare, which provides education, support and resources for cancer patients and their families. Located in Sedona and Flagstaff, CCNAH is devoted to the comprehensive treatment and early diagnosis of cancer through advanced technology and individualized care.

Check in for this all-day event starts at the Pine Canyon Golf Club at 11 a.m. with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch will be provided and a buffet award reception immediately following the end of the tournament in the Pine Canyon Club House.
