Three $1000 scholarships awarded to best overall undergraduate or graduate nursing student essay
Northern Arizona Healthcare Kary Christensen Nursing Scholarships
Four $1,000 scholarships for undergraduate or graduate nursing students
Northern Arizona Healthcare Lamm Nursing Scholarships
Five $1,000 scholarships for undergraduate or graduate nursing students
Northern Arizona Healthcare Clinical Scholarships
Four $1,000 scholarships for graduate clinical students
Four $500 scholarships for undergraduate clinical students
Four $250 scholarships for associate degree clinical students
Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation Non-Clinical Scholarships
Four $1,000 scholarships for associate, undergraduate or graduate non-clinical students
Four $500 scholarships associate, undergraduate, or graduate non-clinical students
Full time or part time employees must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited degree program as of August 1, 2019 with the intent to complete a degree (Associates, Undergraduate, Graduate). You must submit proof of enrollment.
This scholarship is not intended for those seeking certification courses or educational workshops.
Scholarship funds should be used for the 2019-2020 academic year and should only be used to cover the costs of course books and other academic-related expenses.
Only one scholarship per successful applicant will be awarded. All scholarships are awarded annually and are non-renewable.

Write your essay, which must clearly answer the following:
After a recent, comprehensive assessment of health needs in northern Arizona, the Foundation determined its community health-related priorities for the coming years. These priorities are access to healthcare, chronic medical conditions, and behavioral health/substance abuse.
Choose one of these priorities and describe how your educational pursuits will assist you to make a future impact through the hospital and to the community in this area.

Your essay must follow these formatting instructions:
A maximum of one page in length, typed and double-spaced
1-inch margin on all sides
11 or 12 point font
No title or name at the top of the essay
No identifying information included in the essay
Save your essay as a .pdf to be uploaded along with your application.
Provide proof of registration in a nursing or accredited healthcare program (for the nursing and clinical scholarships) or non-clinical program (for the non-clinical scholarship); OR submit the 2019 Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation Verification Form signed by your academic adviser.
