Did you know that the suicide rate in northern Arizona is more than twice the national average, and that suicide is leading cause of death for our youth between ages 15-24? Suicide is a preventable public health crisis in our region. Together, we can create awareness and support those who are in need.
We are campaigning on behalf of the Trauma Services and Behavioral Health departments at the Northern Arizona Healthcare to provide funding for suicide prevention educational programs and resources. Your contributions will help provide training to aid family and friends in knowing the risk factors, recognizing the warning signs, and knowing the steps to take in order to save their loved one. Thank you for considering this need.
If you or someone you know is in need of help now, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255.
